Los signos de otoño.....Signs of fall....

Today the 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed coloring leaves as they reviewed and recalled Spanish color words. 

Las hojas son bonitas en el otoño.                                The leaves are pretty in the fall.

En septiembre, octubre, y noviembre es el otoño.          Fall is in September, October, and November.

Los arboles tienen muchos colores.                               The trees have many colors. 
Hace fresco.                                                                  It's cool.
Me gusta el otoño                                                          I like the fall.

The 2nd graders are learning vocabulary for "around the house":  Mi casa tiene tres cuartos -  una sala, una cocina, un bano.  My house has three rooms - one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom.
