Ho, Ho, Ho, It' Mexico!!!

Fourth and fifth graders made ornaments by outlining the map of Mexico...learned names of lots of states in Mexico.
All grades will hear the Christmas story of Las Posadas which is much like our own story of Mary and Joseph---seeking shelter so the Holy Child could be born.
Feliz Navidad to everyone!!!!

Pen Pals from Mexico

The past couple of weeks we have enjoyed reading letters from our pen pals from Mexico.
It's fun to  hear about their favorite movies, their school, their friends, sports, etc.
We are now composing letters to these students about our school, our families, our favorite sports, foods, and activities.

These letters have come through the church and are a great way for our sixth graders to expand their horizons and practice using their Spanish.

We found where our pen pals live!
